Injury or SUCCESS?

Proper posture during a workout can make the difference between injury or success. It’s amazing how many people think they can copy an exercise from in the gym one day.  Chances are the exercise has been attempted wrong, or at the very minimum, they were applying cues that you did not see or notice.

These are just a couple reasons that getting a certified personal trainer can make the difference between success or failure.  They are checking if your body is in the “athletic or ready stance” which gives your body the safest and strongest stance to apply the exercise. They look for these basic cues:

–          Shoulders down and back

–          Chest out

–          Knees bent

–          ***MOST IMPORTANT***  Core locked
