Fitness Foundation and Fundamentals – Offers an introduction and overview of basic exercises and their proper technique to avoid injury and get the best results from each move. This is ideal for those new to fitness and need a foundation to get the full benefit of the other classes on our schedule.  It is also good for anybody who wants to have a better understanding of certain exercise concepts and receive deeper knowledge.
Self Defence – This class is taught by a Jiu Jitsu master. You spend the class learning and practicing technical movements, to defend yourself from any and all  types of physical attack. These moves are extremely relevant and applicable to real life scenarios. They are designed to evade harm and get away from physical threats. The instructor teaches each move and then has individuals use repetition to create muscle memory.  This is so your body will react with little to no thinking required in an actual emergency.
Family Fitness – This class is geared towards parents and their kids. The goal is to have fun and move our bodies together. The format is highly interactive with stories or music to keep kids mentally engaged.

Yoga
Beginner Yoga – This class will introduce you to the basic principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration.

All Levels Hatha – Hatha Yoga is a combination of asanas (physical postures), breathing techniques and meditation. Participants will become stronger, more flexible and will feel relaxed at the end of each class. This class is for all levels and will include modifications as well as more advanced options.

Vinyasa Flow – A highly energized and fast-paced flow of yoga. Vinyasa Yoga is challenging and invigorating, and will strengthen every muscle in your body as you work up a sweat, vigorously heat the body, and move quickly through each posture. All participants should be somewhat physically fit before beginning this class.

Yin Yoga – This style of yoga is more passive than most and uses gravity to allow students to descend more deeply into their practice. Yin Yoga targets connective tissue, such as ligaments, bones and joints, more so than in a more active style of yoga. Poses are held anywhere from 1-20 minutes. Yin Yoga is more challenging that most people anticipate. Please bring your yoga props to class or a thick folded blanket (or two).

Kundalini – The ancient yoga practice focuses on breath and asana (a.k.a. physical postures) along with chanting, meditation, and singing. A physical practice as well a spiritual one.

AM Meditation – Meditation is the practice of sitting quietly and watching our breath and thoughts to clear our minds and focus our attention.

Intro to Meditation – An introductory session to help beginners ease into starting a meditation practice OR reignite the passion to return to one.
